Dr Hye Jin Kwon is an Endocrinologist who completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne and a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmic Science) at the University of Sydney. She undertook specialist training in Endocrinology at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Austin Health, Northern Health and Monash Health.
Dr Kwon is actively involved in research and medical education, with multiple peer‑reviewed publications and national and international presentations. She was a finalist for the Young Investigator Award at the Australian Diabetes Congress and received the Best Oral Presentation and Senior Medical Staff Association Awards during St Vincent’s Hospital Research Week (2023).
She is dedicated to patient education and evidence‑based care delivered in a supportive manner. Her clinical interests include type 1 and type 2 diabetes (including diabetes technology), diabetes in pregnancy, weight management, osteoporosis, and thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid and pituitary disorders.
Dr Kwon welcomes referrals for all aspects of adult endocrinology and diabetes and can provide consultations in Korean.
