Dr Brendan Nolan graduated in 2011 with the University Gold Medal for Medicine from Bond University in Queensland. He undertook basic physician training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, before completing specialist training in Endocrinology at Austin and Northern Health.

He has a clinical interest in transgender health, and is currently undertaking a PhD through the University of Melbourne. Dr Nolan was a finalist for the prestigious Bryan Hudson Clinical Endocrinology award in 2016 and is the recipient of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Fellows Research Entry scholarship. Dr Nolan also works as an endocrinologist at Austin Health and Northern Health, with active involvement in the training of medical students and registrars.

Dr Nolan welcomes referrals in all aspects of endocrinology including transgender health, men’s health, diabetes mellitus, obesity, thyroid disease, bone disorders, and pituitary and adrenal disorders.
